God forbid we should have a nice and quiet day. If nothing happens the news media will stir up things and create panic. Now they are doing it with the weather.
In the past few days we are having real cold days and nights. Last night was single digit that lasted into mid morning. So what do the weather forecasters do? They show something that is called wind chill factor that was about -30 degrees Fahrenheit. Now, what good that kind of information is worth? We know it is cold and we know what it feels like. We don't need to be told what it feels like. It feels like cold!
Something else.
Last night my wife and I went out to dinner. Went to a lovely place where the dinner was just great. We also met some friends who were there and we spent a good 45 minutes talking with them. The dinner was buffet style with lobster, shrimp, lox and other different types of good food along with dessert. Overall we spent almost three hours there and had a great time.
Last year this same place gave a single rose to every woman guest. That nice touch was missing this time. Maybe it was an economy thing that they had to cut the roses.
