Saturday

Today is erev St. Valentine's Day and we started to celebrate. We are not celebrating the St. Valentine's day massacre but the day of love and appreciation. It is Saturday, things are quiet and we decided to show our love a day sooner!

That said here is what we did so far: we gave each other lots of kisses, we gave each other beautiful greeting cards, my wife bought me chocolate covered marzipan and a bottle of slivovic, we gave Abigail a box of chocolate and a little teddy bear. I feel bad because all I gave my lovely wife was a card. But tonight we are going out to dinner to a very nice place where we celebrated our first Valentine's Day together last year.

I hope today's dinner will turn out as nice as it did last year.

Abigail is sad. She knows what Valentine's Day means and she is sad because she has no boyfriend who would buy her gifts. She wants to be cherished and appreciated and all this from the family just don't cut it. She knows a thirteen year old boy who seem to like her but he is small in stature, weighs about 72 pounds and no way will qualify as a boyfriend.

Besides, it was explained to her that at this age she is too young to have a boyfriend and don't despair time will come when there will be boyfriends.
