Today I had a very long and tiring day. We worked almost non stop from morning 'till late afternoon without stopping, without getting up from the computer. When we sat down the market just opened and by the time we finished the market was already closed for a while.

What we did was unifying all our different accounts. Banks, credit cards, airlines etc. This is not an easy task because we have long list of everything with the accompanying passwords and when one needs one it turns out it doesn't work anymore. That was what ate up most of the time. The unsuccessful attempts.

Some had to be called because after several, like three false attempts they lock you out. Then the call, the wait and eventually being let in. Until now we were 99% successful. There are still a couple we couldn't update but in time we will prevail.

It was interesting to see how different some of the companies are as far as signing in and changing information. Some companies and most of them let you do it on line while a very few will not and insist on sending you forms in the mail or take the information on the phone.

Interestingly a company I used to work for and supposed to be a high tech firm will let you do very little on line and insists on doing things on the phone. Also some of the gasoline and store credit cards seem to be handled by the same bank so, every time we logged on we wound up with the same bank's website.

I also changed my e-mail address in the process which was one of the reason all this work had to be done. That was not a big deal. I had this address for ten years it was time for a change.
