We watched the second half of the Bernie Madoff mini-series. It was very interesting and informative. Even though there was no suspense in the story since everybody knew the outcome it was still interesting.
I kind of don't feel sorry for most of the people because it was their greed that brought them to the point where they lost so much. Greed was the factor to place their monies with this guy. But then that is the American way, isn't it?
We all want to get the most return for our money and looking at that way nobody is blameless. The rotten thing he did that he stole indiscriminately. From the rich as well as from the poor and at the same time lied to his own family.
I don't feel sorry for the rich but the poor is another story. Fortunately, none of my money was invested through him and this way I was not involved. But according to the news and the movie people are slowly getting back what they lost.
Except their health.
