They say people have no money, many, too many people are still with no jobs. Prices are going up across the board and the money is steadily losing its value. Price of gold is at rock bottom, rents and home prices are going up at a steep line.
Still people are shopping, the stores are crowded now that the Christmas holiday is coming. I know that this is temporary but there are other signs that people are spending their monies.
We were at the Opera this week and it was full. We were at a few shows in the previous weeks and most of the expensive seats were sold even if the theaters were not full.
All afternoon today we were occupied with looking to places we might visit in the future. We would love to go to Hawaii for a honeymoon and do the trip with the use of the timeshares we own. Well, that does not seem to be as simple as the salespeople were hinting at the time they sold the stuff.
We are kind of controlled by Abigail's school recesses for our travels. Would you believe that the nearest available and affordable time we found in Hawaii is for August in 2017. It seems that people who own timeshares in Hawaii really use their weeks every year and that is why there is nothing ever available.
I think from here on I will stop feeling sorry for America because it seems they are doing pretty well.
