The hysteria is from the side of the media. It is unbelievable how gullible the media is. In their frantic race to be the first with anything "earth shattering" they will go to any length to broadcast, print or announce events without checking if they are true or not.
This family in Colorado is pulling a fast one and the entire country goes nuts. Then they put the family on TV this morning and interview them.
Is there nothing more important going on in this country than this? The family and the media should be ashamed of themselves for publicizing this prank and waisting the time of serious law enforcement people. In my opinion they should be made to pay for all the time that was spent on searching for this kid.

TV is full of advertisements about the upcoming Mayoral election in New York City and the election of Governor in New Jersey.
First of all, all parties are totally occupied about what a dirty dog their respective opponent is. It is bordering on the disgusting. They spend more energy on their opponents bad things than telling the good things about themselves.
The New Jersey campaign is a real stomach turner. Both candidates are bad for the job, both candidates are phony and, both candidates care only about themselves. If the good citizens of New Jersey have any brains they will vote for the third (minority) candidate and show the door to these two clowns.
New York City is a different story. The mayor changed the rules to allow another term for himself. But then if you are one of the richest man in the world the rules don't apply to you.
I have nothing against the Mayor. I like him. I would like him to win and I would be sorry to see him go four years from now. I suggest that he be crowned the Emperor of New York. That would be for life and he could do the job forever for a $1 per year.

Speaking of politics.
Richard Hetch, the original Survivor, was let out of jail today where he was sent for 51 months for tax evasion.
How come that a poor slob like him is sentenced to jail and all the crooked politicians get away with it.
I'm sure that Charlie Rangel will not be found guilty either by the courts or by his peers.
The word politician equates with crooked.
The difference between the Mafia and the politicians is that the Mafia has honor and they don't make secret of the fact that they want the money for themselves.
The politicians on the other hand have absolutely no honor. They lie and cheat and hide behind the people they supposed to represent.
The only reason someone becomes a politician is to make as much money off the people, loopholes and contacts.
That collection of garbage in Albany ( and now I am insulting the garbage) who threw that "job action" last Summer don't deserve to be in power up there.
New York State Senator Espada who started all that confusion by switching to the Republican side then back to the Democratic side must be full of convictions. Or full of something! And this individual is representing the people? Please! He is on the side of whomever pays him more. There is crooked for you!
